About the Team
Our infrastructure team builds and scales the systems that power Globalite’s Bitcoin-collateralized economy. We design the backbone that allows AI-driven agents to manage collateral, liquidity, and services in real time. Working across engineering, product, and research, we ensure that collateral can be verified, allocated, and mobilized instantly—reliably and at global scale. Our work makes it possible for individuals and institutions to access credit, insurance, healthcare, mobility, and housing directly through Bitcoin collateral.
About the Role
As a Data Scientist on the Infrastructure team, you will play a key role in shaping how we measure, scale, and optimize the systems that support Globalite’s platform. This is critical as we build a global infrastructure capable of handling real-time financial and service transactions across jurisdictions.
You will guide the definition of foundational datasets for collateral and service usage, develop metrics that inform scaling and efficiency, build forecasting and optimization models, and create dashboards that act as the source of truth for infrastructure decisions. Most importantly, you will be a core partner to engineering and product teams, ensuring that infrastructure evolves in line with the demands of a growing Bitcoin-collateralized economy.
This role is based in Milan or Lugano, with a hybrid work model and relocation assistance available.
In this role, you will:
Build and maintain foundational datasets and metrics that reflect collateral usage, service coverage, and infrastructure efficiency.
Develop forecasting and optimization models for collateral allocation and liquidity planning.
Partner with engineering and product teams to shape infrastructure strategy through data.
Drive clarity with dashboards and analyses that guide operational and strategic decisions.
You might thrive in this role if you have:
5+ years of experience in a quantitative role, ideally in infrastructure, systems, or platform domains at a fast-growing company.
Experience defining and operationalizing metrics that reflect system performance, efficiency, or resource usage.
Strong foundation in SQL and Python, with a track record of building models that inform both technical and strategic decisions.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to partner with engineers, researchers, and product stakeholders.
A strategic mindset that connects short-term optimizations with long-term impact.
