The Globalite engineering team is building the distributed infrastructure and AI systems that power the Bitcoin-collateralized economy. We design and operate the core agent framework that manages collateral, liquidity, and services in real time, ensuring reliability, efficiency, and global scalability. Our work combines research and product development: we experiment with new architectures, validate them in real-world scenarios, and deploy them as the backbone of a borderless financial infrastructure.
About the Role
As a Distributed Systems / AI Engineer at Globalite, you will work on scaling our agent framework and optimizing its performance across high-volume, real-time environments. Your work will focus on designing and implementing distributed systems that allow Bitcoin collateral to be mobilized instantly and securely for services like credit, insurance, mobility, and healthcare.
We are looking for engineers who are passionate about systems performance, resilient infrastructure, and building fault-tolerant frameworks where precision and reliability are critical.
This role is based in Milan or Lugano, with a hybrid model and relocation assistance available.
In this role, you will:
Collaborate with research and product teams to design agent architectures optimized for real-world financial and service scenarios.
Build and optimize distributed frameworks to ensure low-latency, high-reliability collateral management.
Profile and tune system performance for scale, availability, and compliance.
Implement fault-tolerant, secure data flows that connect collateral, liquidity providers, and end-user services.
